Who ever said Dell pays $135.00 per service event to replace a component in a desktop or laptop system is nuts. They have never paid that much out. It is actually in the low $50 dollar range. How much do you expect to get paid to take out a few screws replace a piece of hardware and close it back up. You may have to run the Dell Diags but thats as far as you go. of course you you need to put it back together which is a challenge for some who are to stupid and end up putting screws through palm rests, cracking plastics, breaking LCD's, etc... who make all the other employees suffer from there irresponsibility. I have been with Qualxserv for sometime now and they are fare. Territories change for different reasons we are not aware of but its part of the job. I have received bonuses etc for jobs well done and have nothing to complain about. looks like the people on here are complaining about having to work. |

If your a DSP for dell you get $125 per call. Qualxserv gets $125 per call plus mileage. They pay $25 - $33 per call and pay no mileage. You can not make money working for Qualxserv unless you live in a populated area. I will break down this two call day example for you: Check calls at 8:00am (call EU and they tell you when you show up)
Total Mileage for the day $165

I get $34.50 per call, .35 cents a mile after 35, like today. 3 Calls, 55 to first, 55 back to second, 55 last in my home town, spent 11 bucks on gas at 2.49 a gallon. Yesterday 4 calls, mileage to first, second, non to third, mileage to fourth. Not the best, but plenty to get by on in my area, with getting 12-18 calls a week, and summer peaking at 18-24. Wear on my car is bad, but the pay isnt that bad for starting out. And I drive 45 miles to pickup. |
