Do you work at QualxServ? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

Don't try to do it unless you are willing to deal with all of their LIES. I answered an online ad in YahooHotJobs. They post there all the time. |

I have been with them for several months now. I love it. get on their web site and see what is open. I have brothers that work with the company. that's what helped me get in.

wait till you are there longer. you will see the differences. i guess you like having your car not paid for properly and using all that gas and not get properly compensated for it and so on. read EVERYTHING related to this and you will see what we all mean. I AM GLAD I AM NOT WITH THEM ANYMORE! I AM MAKING ALOT MORE NOW THAN I DID WITH THEM AND MY CAR ISN'T SUFFERING BECAUSE OF IT! |

To be honest, I have a company vehicle and a company gas card along with a company credit card. Anything I need, I put on the company card and have had no problems. I personaly have no issues with the company. They treat me and my family very fairly. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad run in with the company. I've got friends who have been with the company since the beginning and were with Getronics for quite awhile. All of them respect the company and wouldn't dream of going any where else. Like I said, sorry you had a bad run-in. |

Well makes a hell of a lot of a difference! I had no company car, no credit card, no NOTHING!! That makes a BIG difference! You don't have to be sorry at all. You did nothing wrong. When I was hired, along with ALL the others in here who comment, WE WERE ALL LIED TO ABOUT EVERYTHING! Only reason why I stayed as long as I did was nobody in my area would hire me despite I was more than qualified for every position I applied for. Now I work as a temp with a big corporation and hop to stay with them. I have to wait and see. |

QualxServ found me. Granted I posted my resume everywhere, but they came to me. I felt honored at first, but when I started working I found they do leave you to figure most of it out on your own. The only way to learn was to get your feet wet, it taught me alot about myself and how I can manage my time affectively. One area they should focus on is communication, it isn't the greatest and you have to understand that most of the DTS's and ROS's are in charge of atleast 200 techs, and even though that figure may be off you have to look at the broad picture, you're not the only tech. You must find ways to get your point across and most of them are not going directly to your supervisor, but to other means such as HR. I honestly thank QualxServ, as if it wasn't for that job I wouldn't have gotten my current IT Admin job. This company can lead you to other means, you meet new people everyday, and if you are good at what you do, they will keep calling you. |

I am not thanking Qualxserv for nothing but the trouble they gave me after all the stuff I did for them. I was their "go to" guy, the one that could help them in a tight jam, etc. What do I get in return? Absolutely nothing! I didn't get my current employment thanks to them. I think they hurt me more than anything because I get asked, why would you leave them, EVERYTIME!! |

I think they hurt me more than anything because I get asked, why would you leave them, EVERYTIME!! That is just about every company. Most of the companies hire you for their benefit. I was their go to guy for atleast 7 of the 11 months I stayed with the company. I started out working 45 miles in the Metro Detroit area, when I ended I was servicing the country side and the metro area, mainly a 150 mile round trip daily... easy... some times more. When another tech wasn't available, I got the call, if someone was on vacation, I took their area. In my place, money is money, and I'm here to get it. All in all I'm really sorry about your experience with the company, but anything I say you will more than likely disagree with, and only agree with the bad aspects of the company. Maybe it will work out with the company your with. The best of luck to you. |

QUALXSERV.. any way you slice it, Dice it.. Its a BULL**** JOB ! Been here for 2 months, and my pockets are empty. Any company that makes you use your own vehicle, and your own gas, AND cell phone.. IS defiantly a company you should AVOID. I know guys with no education working as cashiers making much more money then me. |

If you are looking at a position with Qualxserv, make sure you look at what you will be spending to work for them compared to what you will be making. You will have to pay for your gas, cell phone bill and vehicle repairs out of your own pocket. Also, if they quote you an average number of work orders per day... I would bet money that number is much lower than their quote. They quoted me "an average of 3 per day". My first week I had none. my second week I had 9, my third week I had 4, my fourth week I had 4. I no longer work for them. I do not recommend Qualxserv. |

Im confused, they told me I would use my own car, pay for gas etc, cell phone, home office etc and I claim all either on my federal or state taxes. Dice that!! Don't blame others for what you can't figure out on your own. |

I hardly doubt you were n fact their "Go To Guy" all you do is complain its probably why your not their anymore. Some of us like it there at QualxServ and I take offense to you bad mouthing my Company. Your on here so much that Indeed is probably you full time job. If it was that bad move on...live and learn. Your miss fortune was most likely your own undoing.... |

Also Dell is known to play games with companies...poor CE scores will trigger Dell to shift call volume to another vendor...its not just Unisys out there...there are a handful of smaller no name outfits Dell will shift volume to as well. CE scores are a direct result of poor surveys back from customers to Dell saying how poor the work performed was from a Qualxserv tech. |

Dennis, you were told you needed to use your car when hired.....don't even tell me they didn't. As far as gas i have never had an issue getting reimbursed for my mileage. i get paid on time, for training, gas etc.. I think you were just let go because; well, read everything you wrote. If all of this did happen why did you not sue. i believe most of your complaining is due to your own day to day miss/time management. I bet you keep going on about your car because it broke down or something and it left you in a bind.....I recoup on taxes: home office, wear and tear on vehicle, cell phone, paper ink, mileage,,....you should have gone to an accountant.... |

Seriously, dude. You need to refrain from judging me like you are, John. I was a part-timer for the whole time I was there. I was never made full time, which seems to be the heart of the matter.

It's not a totally bad company, seems like all the care center people are always pissed about something. The pay sucks ($29.00 per call so i get bout 10 a week after tax and all $200 a week)but meeting customers and since of freedom feels great! my first car shut down on me, just waiting for tax season to get her running again
