I have just come from a Quest Diagnostics office (Lemon St. in Rancho Cucamonga California). It was a horrible experience. The staff was rude and uncaring. The patients, many of them coughing and sneezing, were herded into a reception area like cattle. I waited more than an hour before the receptionist would speak with me and take my referral paperwork. The receptionist, Melissa, was completely unconcerned and I could tell that she had no interest in helping me. You may wonder why I am posting this on a jobs forum. I want to warn you, YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK FOR A COMPANY LIKE THIS. The simple fact of the matter is I plan on sharing this experience with as many people and organizations as I can. This is truly the only recourse we consumers have when our insurance companies utilize a single source for this type of service.
