Do you work at Qwest Communications? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

It was helpful, it tells me that US companies are sending OUR jobs overseas and/or allowing foreign workers to move here, guess Lou Dobbs is correct, companies are being trained on how to NOT hire American workers. Thanks P Bush and xP Clinton, you and Congress have America's best interests at heart... NOT. This is reasonable and polite considering, taking it off won't hide the truth. |

I was a Credit Consultant for 8 years with USWEST/Qwest. The job started as a fantastic company, good wages (over 20 bucks an hour to be on the phone), free healthcare, and a positive environment. When Qwest bought out USWEST, the climate started to change with Naachio and he almost drove the company to bankruptcy. A lot of the high paying sales jobs and the long term employees were being let go and replaced by people who didn't know what they were doing. Customer service took a big dive. I was told Oct 2006 that my office was closing. I got downsized Jan 2007. |
