Working for R-Solutions has been a major learning experience in my life. I've worked at two of their locations, Sam's Club & Target. The starting pay is about 50 cents above minimum wage per hour with small commissions, spiffs (add-ons), and bonuses. Travel requirements are very low. The only travelling required is for bank deposits once a week. You are required to stand at all times in either a stand-alone kiosk or the mobile phone section of a big box retailers electronics department. Usual hours are 7:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. for a store like Sam's Club and 11:30 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. for a store like Target.
I like working at R-Solutions due to the fact that you are able to sell more than one carriers phone line. There are more customers now that Verizon Wireless is available to R-Solutions again. Many times you will be asked to help a customer with an unrelated matter such as finding video games, televisions, MP3 players, etc. The job will pay off if you're patient. It took me almost 4 weeks to get my first sale at the Sam's Club location because of so few people being interested in buying phone a service other than Verizon Wireless. It's definitely a good idea to make sure that the location you are applying for has had a strong sales record. Some kiosk locations may look busy only because there are so many customers shopping at the main store (Target, Costco, Sam's Club, etc.).
The employees get health benefits after 6 months, as well as a discounted cell phone plan.
Overall R-Solutions is a mixed bag. I would only recommend working here if you don't mind making a few sacrifices. Progress may be slow at first and your pay will likely reflect that. It's is a perfect temporary/seasonal part-time job for students or someone looking for a transitional sales position.
