What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Ralph Lauren Media stack up against the competition? |

there is a reason why there are hardly any original employees left at RL charlotte. That would be Kay Warriner. |

what specifically has she done? Give more details on a typical day at RL. From the interview, the environment seemed real snooty and they seem to focus more on audits and paperwork, as opposed to apprehensions and recoveries. |

she is erratic (forgets to open the store), seems to only care about appearances, has caused at least 4 female associates to leave in tears one of whom left after 5 weeks, continually verball abuses staff, allows racist comments to go on, allows gender biased comments to go on, intervuews based only on background, has a cult like mentality if you are not wearing all RL you are sent home btw. no exceptions. |

Uggh. Your not painting a very good picture for me LOL.. When I did my interview, the place did seem very snooty. And the guy did mention that I needed to be "IN-style" whatever that meant I guess time will tell. I will be working in Loss Prevention. Do you know anything about how they operate? |

I guess that means there's ton of backstabbing going on? The man interviewing me told me that, if the associates dont like me then my job will be difficult... I was also told that I need to do alot of training with the associates. oh well, i start next week. i'll let you know how it goes. if there are any tips you could give me on what to avoid doing at this place would be greatly appreciated. |

I recently interviewed for a management position, with Kay Warriner, at Oscar de la Renta in South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa, CA). Although I was warned of her jealous-like and superior behavior, I chose to interview with her anyway. Our interview went very well and I was told that the NY directors would be doing the second round of interviews, however I never received a call back. Through word of mouth, I found out that that my resume was never given to the directors and, to boot, she discussed our interview with her current employees stating that I either "didn't have enough management experience" or that I was being untruthful about my management background. Really? Like I just whipped up 15+ years of false information to create a resume? To my content, a couple weeks after my interview, she was fired by the directors for disobeying company rules such as wearing unpaid Oscar de la Renta clothing and treating her employees badly, among other things! I'm happy to hear that she has been relieved of her duties, but I am still VERY angry that I could potentially be working for Oscar! |

Kay Warriner is a huge b..... Seriously. I am not surprised she was fired-she was terrible to work under at RL, totally two faced, conniving, played favorites and hired w/o background checks. |
