Open Minded Construction Criticism in Little Neck, New York

So why not post a link to your resume? I have read a lot of complaints against RHI/Officeteam/Accountemps and other staffing firms for the matter...but what I do not see is what makes some one qualified.

RHI is number 524 on the Fortune 1000 list (and 2 other staffing firms rank higher) and has been around for close to 60 years...not to defend this company but I see about 2000 posts of bashing this co, but no one really stepping up and truly posting their resume or saying why they are truly qualified.

US unemployment is 4.5%...US population is 300 million...I have read complaints of not getting a call back and that is the reason this company is crap. Do the math...how many phone calls do you return yourself? And how many people do not leave their numbers slowly enough, lol...

I even saw a post about this company hiring a staffing firm to help them hire recruiters and then the person was bashing this co again...well at least they are hiring. Read any newspaper and its about companies laying off workers. Look at the mtg industry...then someone was bashing this co over their stock price going down and it was sweet revenge...well if companies are not hiring then why would a staffing companies stock go up? May explain why you are unemployed at the moment...hmmmmmmmmm things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

I am sure some one will flag this post as being not helpful, lol...but I guess unemployed professionals do get disgrunted easily...but think about who becomes unemployed...usually not the best of the best.

Point of post...Network, create a monster/careerbuilder, etc profile and apply to every job that you feel you are qualified for and also create a separate cover letter for each job you apply to! Getting a job is not easy, so if you are not going the extra mile then dont feel like any thing is owed to you.

Good luck in your job search.

I agree with every word you wrote but be aware this is not the place to post a link to your resume as contact information of any sort is disallowed.

I will say that I have often wondered the same thing as regards other peoples' credentials. We have posters claiming to hold a Masters degree yet they can't write well. I am not talking about the occasional typo, I am talking about using "your" instead of "you're" and the like.

I once went to career builder to read resumes just for fun but they charge as much as $1000 per year for the privilege of reading them.

I have also posted my credentials from time to time and been called "pompous" for it so you can't win.

My theory is that RH hires sophisticated people and most people are just not. Obviously the successful ones have little need to come here and post positive things about the company and if they do, they are insulted as being RH brainwashed idiots so they don't stick around.

I think we ought to have a separate complaint thread so people can complain and keep the bashing out of the normal conversations. Even these two posts would belong there and not in RH's thread actually.
