I interviewed with a position for Robert Half Legal and was hoping I could get some feedback on what others think about the company.

Are the hours horrible? They said it's 7:30am - 6pm which isn't great, but as long as there's not a whole lot of overtime it could work.

What's the base salary? The commission structure seems pretty intense. What does the average associate make their 1st year and 2nd year? With the amount of loans I have, this is pretty important.

Any help / feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I worked for them. The hours are pretty bad. I never really left the office before 7pm, and oftentimes later. The base salary is very low -- in the 30s, maybe low 40s. It takes about a year until you start seeing commission checks (don't believe the pretty picture they paint of you starting to bonus in your 3rd month). It takes a while to pay down the draw.
With all that being said, if you work your butt off, you can make money. In my second year I was making 6 digits. But the environment is very stressful, and the management really could care less about the individuals. The higher you climb on the corporate ladder, the more hours you have to put in. They play so many corporate games, it's disgusting. You won't really learn anything you can use anywhere else, so think about what you're gonna do during next downturn. Out of almost 200 people I worked with, only a handfull were the ones who made it through the last down-cycle. Almost everyone was pretty recent or brand new.
They'll tell you pretty much anything you want to hear to attract a good employee. If you are just out of college, do yourself a favor and go another route, the turn-over and the aggravation at RHI won't do you any good.
