ANY good Financial Exec placement experiences in the LA Area?

I am looking for feedback. I have been placed by RH twice in my career, so I was a satified customer, sort of. Now, I can't even get the time of day from them, at least out of the Ontario office.

They appear to not like using "experienced candidates", which is French for Age Discrimination. Since I am regular sought out for similar jobs via MONSTER, CAREER BUILDER, 6 FIGURE JOBS or The Ladders, it isn't a lack of a good resume, or skills that has me disqualified. The truth is, I get at least 3 to 4 times as many responses via "cold calling" from others. Frankly, I'd rather not use them at all, but apparently SOMEBODY out there sees them as a valuable resource for placement.

Does anyone have anything positive to say about ANY Los Angeles area executive placement firms?
