I worked for RHL in the Detroit area for about 14-15 mos. The starting salary is what drew me to the job, about 48k per year. This is a pretty good salary for a "sales" person. I had about 6 years of "sales" experience prior to joining RHL and was told that I could expect, with hard work, to earn six figures, especially with my "impressive" resume. Turns out, the job was living hell. This is NOT sales, this is telemarketing. Basically, all these posts are true, you work from 730 to 6 + each night and I was making VERY little commission, even by my year anniversary. Their expectations are unrealistic, it's a sweatshop, and the door code changes nearly weekly with people getting canned. Don't do this job if you're an actual salesperson. I now work for a software firm and have been rep of the quarter for 2 straight quarters. If you like to "sell" and are good at it, don't do this job, it's a joke.

Yep, and when you quit they give all your commissions to their hand-picked, brown-nosed favorite subordinates who back-stabbed you on the way out.
