RHI IS DISGUSTING in Fort Lauderdale, Florida 44 months ago |
Rosin in Scottsdale, Arizona said: Hi, I worked for them for years, as both an account executive and manager (or DD as they call it.) It is the WORST company in the world to work for. They put ridiculous pressure on you, have people above you who know nothing about the business managing you and at the end of the day blame you for everything that goes wrong. The turnover is laughable, in 4 years I had 87 people come and go from my branch. RHI is branding only, they spend tons of money on advertising to get their name out there, but at the end of the day they offer an inferior product. DO NOT take a job with this company. There stock has dropped almost 50% since 2006. They are a joke, and hopefully one day soon will go the way of other companies who are too greedy and too lazy to sustain themselves. |

Not to worry, I accepted a postion with another agency that is EXACTLY what I was looking for on all levels. Thank goodness some great agencies still exist out there. We offer a wonderful service to candidate/employer and it's truely a shame that some "bad apples" spoil the barrell. I believe Robert Half is a good service to some, but their business model does not work in the legal placement area, as the markets in any given city are too small. Until they realize this, they will continue to turn over that division. I wish them the best of luck, and look very forward to competing with them!!! |

I was considering applyng for an accounts executive/manager position until I read your comments on Robert Half Legal, not to mention the numerous other comments on the company. I don't think I have ever read so many negative comments expressed about a company in my life (unethical etc.). I would be extremeley interested in knowing the name of the company you ended up working for, and perhaps I could share your enthusiasm in competing with Robert Half legal. Thanks. |

Dont take it!! I was there in the living Rat Hole, After all the hours you must put in, you end up making min wage. The training is great! But the people they hire for managment is crazy! They dont have a clue in what they are doing. No people skills what so ever! More like a playground then a working enviorment! They should have a revolving door in the front!

Rosin in Scottsdale, Arizona said: Hi, I sure did! don't get me wrong, RHI is a good company, they provide lots of PTO, the best training around. Eventually you will take that training to your next job and use it there because the average tenure in any branch of RHI any division is less than 6 months, no joke, look around the room during the Monday morning branch meeting that they take way 2 seriously. Pin stripes galore, if they were to stop wasting all that prime time in a.m. and p.m. board meeting they might actually be able to make 125 calls and 12 cvs. The branch I worked in was full of cool interesting people but the divisional director was absoluteley unbearable, the type of person who tells you in the morning that you are the ceo of your own company and in the afternoon puts your client on hold and tells you the appropriate word track to use, no kidding, micro management control freak the worst I ahve ever seen, don't worry, they know her deal!!!!!! |

Rosin in Scottsdale, Arizona said: Hi, I interviewed with Robert Half Legal 3 times (downtown Chicago, IL). I'm a licensed attorney so the manager was excited to at least have ONE (of a team of about 15) licensed attorney to attend bar events and commission business(that doesn't say much about the office to begin with). I was offered a position on a Friday and I accepted the same day (times were tough, I needed to break into the market somehow and I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet prospective employers for myself). I was told to wait by the phone to confirm a schedule and other details but to no avail. They never called me back. The DD was completely unprofessional and I even met with the regional manager two times and she was just as obnoxious (always talking about how much money they made, making more than their husbands, etc). After a few weeks and nothing from them (after repeated emails/phone calls) their business practices were blatantly apparent. Shortly thereafter, I secured full time employment with a private firm (still there and loving it). The manager, the regional manager and their "top-performer" have done business with my firm before and although they solicit my firm for their continued business, after I told them a few of the secrets on what the mark up is and how they judge candidates, my firm will no longer deal with them. It's a small 'legal world'; I've relayed the message to many colleagues. Hopefully the obnoxious, entitled, "holier than thou" attitude that those 3 women share will soon come to an end when they realize how important it is to treat others with respect (especially those that one day will be determining whether or not they want to give you their business). Horrible office. |
