I am very suprised to hear the comments above. I met with an RHT recruiter and they were very open about the process, the positions and how they could help me with my job search. They encouraged me to continue searching on my own as well and talking together we will get an opportunity. I was very comfortable with this and felt excited to move forward. |

Hello, everyone! Just wanted to inform all of you that this Renee person (not sure if this person is a female -- it could be a male or one of those transgender types like RuPaul)is from the Pleasanton headquarters of Robert Half Technology and is a recruiter posing as some job applicant who walked into an RHT office where OMG! RHT found this job applicant an opportunity! Of course, people like Renee are going to be very loyal to Robert Half and proudly defend the company. This organization utilizes some of the most DISHONEST (and in some federal jurisdictions, ILLEGAL) methods of cheating job seekers out of opportunities that don't exist. It's really sad that Robert Half Technology's recruiters have degraded themselves to this level. Then again, the recruiters at Robert Half Technology have absolutely ZERO education and experience. Job seekers are way more intelligent human beings than these pathetic losers, and I STRONGLY recommend you NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ROBERT HALF. And Renee (or whoever/whatever you are): Stop visiting this website and trumpeting on these message boards how Robert Half is the best recruiting company in the entire universe. Please find something better to do with your time....hey I know: GET A LIFE -- and one with a brain in it,<Edited by Host: Inappropriate Comment Removed>. |

My offer still stands. Besides, you should never believe everything you hear. Any good journalist or investigator will tell you to verify the facts for yourself. Are there some bad apples? You bet there are. We are people just like you. We have been in technology and know the business. That's why I took this job. We are not cheaters, or liars, or swindlers, or whatever names we are called. If you read the boards thoroughly, you will find two other things, those that praise RHI/RHT for helping them find a job and those that understand the reality of how consulting truly works. I interview 15-20 people and speak to 10 times that many. Can I place everyone of them in a position? As much as I would love to, I can't. That is the reality. However, I will be completely honest with you if I can't and will help you any way I can in other ways. |

Bosco in Orlando, Florida said: Robert Half Technology has one of the worst reputations in the recruiting industry!! I will fill you in on RHT. I was a recruiter for them for 11 months. They say RHI in general runs on honesty, that is a lie. They are the most dishonest group I have ever had the misfortune of working for. Their mark ups to clients I saw as high as 150%. The jobs they advertise, while real, most likely will not be filled by them, thier competition will fill the order. They will bring you in to the office just to get information from you and never find work for you. I was told to bring people in even if they were not qualified for the position they were interested in. Wasting the candidates time, as much as 3 hours, for a job they have no hope of getting, we would not even present them to the clent. So the next time you see an RHT posting save yourself time and don't apply, with a little research you can find what company really has the position. They are a very dishonest group. And I am ashamed to say I was one of them. Hope this helps. |

I have done work for RHT, GDH and Teksystems. Of all three of those companies, RHT is the only one I would not go back to work for. An example of why: There was a job posted for Compcom I believe the name of the company was. RHT offered the job to me at $12 an hour. I had a contact with GDH, which I asked about the same position. The contact told me GDH could offer me $15 an hour for the same position. That is just one of the examples I could give. Other reasons are already stated above. |
