Do you work at SOS Security? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?

Any advice for someone trying to get in?

Although you may have some luck in getting someone to respond to your post, you'll most likely get a much better response if you apply to the job directly. Try doing a SOS Security search on Indeed and then click on the jobs that interest you the most. You'll be redirected to the website the job position is originally posted on and there you will find instructions on how to apply.
Here is one I did for you.+

Good luck!

Forget about anyone responding to you. I don't know how this company stays in business. They don't respond from any level. Not human resources, not the individual whose email is listed, not even the CEO. I can't understand how they get personnel to work there or how they stay in business.

I was contacted by Plumbingagent.com. I have the phone number saved to call and will be calling it now. I went to the website and did not know what to do with Quanticast. I made a profile here at the SOS website. I have sent my resume from Yahoo hotjobs dated 12/20/07 and/or 12/24/07. I was only contacted by phone giving me the plumbingagent.com url and informed by a recording to go to the website online. What next?

I as you have filled out any & all info at the SOS security website plus sent in my resume through email.
Plus I find a fax number & address for SOS security & fax a cover letter & resume in Murfreesboro, TN.
As of this date & time I haven't heard a word from anyone from SOS ecurity.
Also I called the phone number, 702-338-etc..twice. Last night I recalled one last time.
This number is listed on Monster.com, as stated: To set up an interview, Call, Fax-another # as: 704- e4tc.., E-mail to: SOS Security Incorporated.
The #: 702-338, etc.. is not SOS security #. This phone # is answered by some very polite speaking lady.
I spoke with this lady & she said she was in Vegas, Nevada.
I apologized for calling her but also told her this phone 702,etc.,# is listed online for SOS security incorporated job opening.
What the heck is going on here?

SOS is a bottom-feeder. Low wages and poor benefits. You would be better off applying with another security firm but stay away from Securitas.....they used to be Burns & Global Security. They got bought and are even worse than SOS.

I sure made a mistake accepting an unarmed security job with SOS, not to state the location.
The so-called site supervisor told me to run a shift & wanted to know about any security violations.
I reported several/numerous problems to that supervisor but when it came to reporting about his friends / his long time buds he decided to get rid of me instead.
There were more serious violations than minor ones I never told about.
Apparently he found out I knew more about all the con games going on by simply reading computers about all his buds.
They didn't acre wheither they did wrong or not they knew the site supervisor would try & hide everything.
It doesn't matter how good of a job you know they'll find a way to get rid of you if you step on too many toes.
I doubt though it would matter to their home office either.
