Do you work at Sterling? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

I used to work for Sterling Jewelers at the home office. I actually applied online at SterlingCareers.com, I didn't know anyone who worked there. Best bet for anyone trying to get: a) make sure your background is clean (no matter where you work for Sterling, you're going to need security clearance), b) write an amazing cover letter (after talking to the hiring manager a year after I worked there, she said it was my cover letter that got me in), c) have some kick-ass references, they called each and EVERY one of my references with extensive questions.. |

Don't know why anyone would want to work for Sterling. They don't care about the people that actually do the work. Management is only out there for themselves. If I were you, I'd keep looking. |
