How common is it for Safeway to hire experienced Meat Cutters....I filled out applications online and have heard nothing...can anyone tell me how to find out if my application has been reviewed ? I am assuming that since meat cutting is a dieing art that they would jump at anyone who has experience.

You get hired as a Meat Clerk and than get trained for the cutting. That is if you still want to work in that dept. Just got hired as a meat clerk. Start Sat for Orientation.
