I worked for Safeway for 11 years until I had to leave work in 1989 due to family care issues. This was in Virginia, where most of the stores have since closed. How can I find out what my retirement account balance is currently....if anything? Haven't had much luck navigating the Company website....

Try calling the HR department in Pleasanton. Or you may have better luck talking to the Employee Service Center - 888-255-2269. When I worked there, I never bothered with HR and always went to the Employee Service Center. Good luck!

Safeway union questions?
I am new employee in safeway. I have a question regarding their union... Is it automatically deduct in your paycheck? or should I fill up something first?
