Hey, I'm looking for some info on being a Diesel Mechanic for Schneider National in Kearny NJ. Anybody work for them or for any of there other hubs across the country ? I heard you work 10hr shifts 4 day work weeks is this true ? I heard they have a pretty decent training program as well for new students coming out of school. I would like to know what would be there starting rate as well. I'm trying to get as much hands on experience as I can but I wouldn't mind mixing it up and working on other equipment and trucks as well so I'm kinda stuck on this decision. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
