Any Scottrade brokers able to provide some info? Would be interested to hear what the average starting salaries are with Scottrade for Stockbrokers. It seems like the benefits are good. Also, how is the company for promoting from within?

I did an interview over the phone with them, they offer up to 40k a year and no commission. They told me it was more like customer service and you cannot make any recommendations. Only answer questions and put in orders if client ask you to.
