Do you work at Sears Home Services? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

You don't want this job. Getting paid has become challenging to say the least. |

I work at Sears as a salesperson. I can't believe that this company is $60-something a share. Their entire sales-force is minimum wage, and then they fight for extra commission pennies like starving wolves. None of us have any health benefits. Our "Sears Home Services" kiosk is a forgotten pillar behind the appliances department that no one ever even notices. It may as well be the train station that Harry Potter goes to. I'm sure it's different in southern states, because we always see videos up here of how everyone down there practically whistles while they work, and they all break sales records, etc. etc. So maybe in Tennessee, you have a shot. But up here, I wouldn't touch this job....unless....it was the only one I could get (which it presently seems to be). |

It was great for quite some time. But lately, I have expressed to my superiors that Sears seems to be in trouble financially. Why else wouldn't they pay the commissions? I get no response from them. Now I am being ignored by Judy in Human Resources. They seem to be being instructed to guard the money at the cost of their salepeople our families. |
