W-2 forms

I have not recieved my W-2 forms from Kmart yet what shall I do or how can I go about getting it.

If you have not gotten your w-2, and you have contacted them about it already, you can call the IRS and lodge a complaint. Make sure you have your last paycheck and they will allow you to file using that. I am having the same problem.

How do you use last paystubs if Sears doesnt give you any, we got paid by means of Comdata cards, and there were never any paystubs issued to me?

All pay information is on 88sears.com. Even if you have a paycard, it still shows a paystub. Also you can sign up at 88sears.com to receive your w2 electronically. This can be viewed the whole year. In case you lose it. Also on 88sears.com is a place where you can update information like an address. Hope this helps.

Minerva, Read above, you can sign up to receive one electronically and you'll get it on january 20th or you'll receive it in the mail automatically on the 30th.

Kmart is notorious for things like this. Paystubs and W2 forms, as stated, are available via the internet. As for the paper copies of paystubs, you can go to your store coach and request they print you one, which requires you take time out of your day to sign in to the Kmart/Sears paysite on one of their computers. However, if it is anything like my store, you may very well have to wait upwards of three days for someone to get around to your request. W2s should be in the mail by IRS deadline, which I am unsure of-- I've heard Jan. 31st in my store. Also, to any users with pay being put on a payroll card, GET RID OF IT. Those things are a ripoff that charges you to use them. You're better off with a free checking account.

I recently am not an associate of K-mart Medina as of the middle of Janurary 2008. Thats to bad because I feel I was a very good employee and very good with the customers. I am currently having a problem understanding why it is taking so long to get my W-2 on-line I signed up to have it e-mailed to me. I thought it was supposed to be a faster processes to be able to down load it online but calling the 1-888-887-3277 They say not to even to expect it until Feburary 4th That doesn't seem faster to me. I have the current requiremens for a home compuer Windows xp Acrabat reader I think it is 7.0. I just don't see how doing it on line isa faster and why isn't it. I still have not received my w2 either. According to the law they should have benn placed in our hands before jan31 or on jan31. Here it is feb 4th and still no w2.
