I have been trying to get the contact details of a senior manager so I can make a complaint about a customer care supervisor. It seems whenever I send an Email or a letter to the corp office, it always goes to the person I am complaining about? Even the return phone call from the letter was by the person I was complaining about, & when I called myself, I was directed to the person I was complaining about? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I meant to say that my dealings was with the Canadian corp office, but I would be willing to take it to The U.S. office in the hope that they may take my complaint more seriously. |

Are you starting to get the impression that the company does not care about dissatisfied customers? You should be... Does Canada have a better business bureau? They will probably not do anything for you anyway, but at least you would have the satisfaction of knowing that a negative mark is going on their public record with the BBB. |

Its not so much they don't care, it's the fact that they give so much power to someone with very little professionalism. I am still in shock with the way in which I have been treated as a customer; all I wanted (7 weeks ago) was an answer to 2 questions. I have been insulted, spoken down to; & when I explained what a ? means at the end of a sentence, I was then informed that they didn't think the questions were relevant. I have help set up technical & customer support help desks on 3 different continents, Europe, Asia & North America. The so called high level supervisor that I have had the displeasure of dealing with (she even brags that if I complain about her, she will receive the complaint & it will go no further; & guess what? She was right!) I would not even employee her as a cleaner. I have just received a response from another supervisor, & this one is backing the supervisor that I am complaining about & still hasn't answered my 2 questions. I thought Sears was a large organization that took customer satisfaction seriously, I guess I was wrong. My neighbours have also advised me that they have received similar treatment from Sears. I attempted to record the supervisor who was being rude to me, but under Canadian law, I must advise the person being recorded that they are being recorded, & as soon as I told her I was recording, she hung up. Now I know call centre staff in Canada can refuse to be recorded, but if you had nothing to hide, why would you hang up? As I am still unable to get contact details of a senior manager, my wife, family, friends & I have all agreed we will cancel our Sears cards & boycott the store. Its quite sad, as everyone we spoke to under corporate, have been extremely friendly & proffesional. |
