If the price of something drops to zero, can the product still be sold? I know its suppose to be returned, but I've heard customers purchasing items at a discount price for example a video game for $1.97. |

It drives me crazy when zeroed-out merchandise is on the floor! Anyway, our management has basically said that if the customer is willing to pay the last sticker price (usually on clearance by that point) on the item, to go ahead and sell it to them. |

It greatly depends on the management staff and the item. If a customer brings an item to me worth under 50 I usually just make up a price that I think its worth and ask if thats ok if they say no which rarely happens I just send it to RTV. OH and I'm a Sears lifer only, only joking, its going on 5 years now and I'm excited my new vacation rung kicks in. Just to throw this in SEARS BLOWS |

Zeroed merchandise sometimes sticks on the floor, you're not gonna sell everything every month. The policy, to my best knowledge, is that the merchandise can be kept for up to 90 days after rolling to $0 and can be sold at the last selling price and no less. After 90 days, it is to be thrown out. Yes, thrown out and destroyed. |
