I applied online after completing the application I was given an assessment test when I completed the test it gave me the option to schedule an interview. My interview was scheduled for 10am although the store does not open until 10am I hurried back to the HR department I was greeted by a very nice young lady who pulled my application from a stack that she said she just pulled off the printer. She asked me to have a seat and that a manager would be right with me. I only waited 5 minutes when Maria escorted me to a room for my interview she was very nice and knowledgeable. Maria asked me why I left my previous job. I told her that I was laid off and why. She asked about my gap in employment since my last job. I explained why. then she told me that she was going to ask me a series of customer service questions which consisted of goals I have achieved, goals I have exceeded,I had to describe a situation that was difficult and how I handled it. Because I applied for a cashier position she asked if I had cash handling experience. which I did. She told me that I did not need to know there POS system because you go through a 2 week training. she told me all about the position which sounded great to me. Se gave me the opportunity to ask her questions which she promptly answered. I felt so comfortable and was not nervous at all. I actually felt better when I came out of the interview than while I was waiting. she told me that they were currently hiring so I should expect a call back soon for a second interview. I will update when I have my second interview.

I received a call for my seccond interview on saturday 10/22 @ 3pm. I met with the head cashier. she asked me questions about my availability and a few more customer service positions. She wanted me to unerestand that if I acceped the position there would be black-out days in November and December (no requested days off) she then told me that I was going to have a thirde interview with the store manager I waited 25 minutes then met with her. she again asked me customer service questions like what would I do if there were lots of people inline. then she also told me about the black-out months and offered me the position, Next I met with the HR lady who had me fill out a form on her computer then she printed some paperwork for me to sigh. she told me that I would have orentation on Friday because they had 4 new hires and she wanted to do them all at the same time the other 3 had to take drug tests but I did not. I will update after orentation to let you guys know how it went.
