i was recently laid off my job and a carreer i would like to pursue is one in the automotive field i have experience working on my truck doing spark plugs oil changes filters etc and i enjoy it so i thought i would apply for an entry level job does anyone have any advice on how to get started i was looking to see if my community college has anything or sears k mart or pep boys but from what iv'e reaserched online they all seem pretty lousy i mean im 40 and i dont wanna be making 5 or six bucks an hour

They probably start at 11-12 bucks an hour if you can get a salaried position your beter off it will be about 30,000 a year to start. Sears sucks as a company by the way
