you have to speak spanish to work for sears do not apply if you don"t speak spanish when I apply online in canoga park in california I set up a interview date online when I got there cannot find the hr office asked an employee where is the hr office she told where it is, it was merchandise pick up area there was a hispanic person delivery a merchandise to a customer I ask him where is the hr office he told me he don't know what I mean; Um I like what? how did he get hire if he don"t know where the hr office is at well I guess he got hired from someone he knows in the company anyway there was a office with no name on it I decided to knock on the door until 5 minutes later a hispanic lady came out ; I asked her is this the hr office she reply yes I told her I have a appointment 10 minutes ago no body answer she said have a seat and someone will get back to you 30 minutes later I knock again lady open the door will there be someone to interview me; the lady turn around and start talking spanish to the other employee and then I get the feeling Im not hispanic I will not get the job because mostly everybody I see working here at sears is hispanic so I waited a few minutes more a hispanic lady came out and introduce herself and said she was in charge of the position you are applying for then we did the interview and then went on sales floor to show what I will be doing if I get hired she start talking to the employee in spanish Im started to think this lady will not hire me even though I think Im more qualify for her position than she is I mean this is a mostly white neighborhood if your a american your out of luck at sears. watch out usa your in trouble if you only speak english.

So because you are a "White" American you are more qualified for the job than her?

I work at a Sears where the neighborhood is mostly Eastern Europeans, Eurasians, and Latin-Americans. I don't know a lick of Armenian, Russian, Arabic, or Spanish and I got hired on the spot.

Don't blame other ethnic groups for your misfortunes, it's not the "hispanics" fault your under qualified to work at a freaking Sears.

There's still a lot of English being spoken in Sears stores.

If Spanish was specified in the job position, it probably is to fill in total available store hours to have a Spanish-speaking Associate available for Customers.

Sorry, no big plot here.
