What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Spherion stack up against the competition? |

The 281 office the recruters are a joke, I came in, sat in office 10 min before anyone came to help me, I could see through the window nobody was really working. When rep did interview me she offered me a job 6 months with siemans doing collections, she said she submitted my resume that day Thursday May 31'st and today is Friday June 8th I still have not heard back from recruter about the position, she has not responded to email or phone calls, I even spoke with manager this morning, she still has not responded. SPHERION IS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

SPHERION IS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No surprise, unfortunately. Most agencies are less than professional. Here's something to try: Call her and say you're at a new firm that needs to hire 10 folks. Keep her interest by saying you'd like to use Spherion, then provide some sham phone number for her to call. When she calls you back (or e-mails), say "Oh, sorry." In summary, people looking for work need to be treated with respect. Perhaps agencies will learn how it feels to be jerked around. Do not try this on Friday: They never seem to be around on Fridays. Hmmmm. |
