Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Spherion? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Spherion? |

Spherian employees try to adapt to the customers needs, so they do not stand out in a negative way. As a result, Spherion employees and contractors must act like chamelions to change to change colors according to the needs of its customers. If the customer expects tie, that is what you wear, if they say jeans are OK, that is up to you. Just keep in mind that I have never seen a long-term contract result from Spherion, just short term temp or temp-to-hire gigs. Their staff is not knowledgeable about IT, just in occasionally placing zombies as a body shop |

Couldn't be farther from the Truth from this comment. I worked for Spherion out of Lima, OH and out of the office in Toledo, OH and we had many people (good people) that got hired on by our clients, in fact that is what we strived for. There are those types of "employees" that want everything handed to them so they would walk in our door acting as if it were our job to get them a job. Many people have that misconception. Our office always told our employees and potential employees that it is my job to make sure my clients are fully staffed, and if someone comes in that is qualified for an opening that I have then I will place them there. Many people thought that we were there to constantly call them when we had openings, and I'll tell ya, when you have approx. 100 new employees registering with your company in a week, you can't contact everyone, so someone is going to fall through the cracks. Staffing firms are what you make of them,,you too have a part in the process, you have to call them and constantly stay on them or they will forget who you are!
