Don't buy in to these scam sites like Indeed.com and Monster anymore! It's the same jobs with pages and pages and pages of headhunters, with only a sprinkling of "real" employers. The economy is busted and will be until the nation changes administrations and direction but "we" the unfortunate job hunters may not last that long. |

You can use the "exclude staffing agencies" feature on our advanced search to only receive search results from direct employers.

How are they scams? Yes some contracting companies could post "generic" jobs so that people will respond and then they'll get your resume so they can submit it over and over. However most post real jobs unfort. the sad thing is 20 other contracting companies in your area are posting up the same job as well so it dillutes EVERYTHING! It's good to stay with one or two contracting agencies and just apply with them. Let them find jobs for you. That's what I did with sprint and they found me a perfect contract to hire position. |

I will agree that there ARE a lot of scams here, but that's true of ANY mass-media job board. I will have to say that I've gotten two good solid interviews from the listings here on Indeed.Com. The way the economy is at this time, I'll damned near work anywhere at a job that I can do. |
