Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at St. Paul Travelers? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at St. Paul Travelers? |

PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS UP FROM THEIR DESK CHIT CHATTING, GOING FOR WALKS, OR HANGING OUT AT THE NEAR DELI.STRESSED. WITH SO MANY POSITIONS THAT WERE ELIMINATED AND OTHERS WHO QUIT, TRAVELERS HAS DUMPED THE WORK ON THE ONE BEHIND OBVIOUSLY. |

My brother seems to rather enjoy it actually. Keeping in mind that he just started, and I'd agree with Julie on how lax they are on dress code seemingly. My brother wears jeans and a t-shirt on Fridays with sneakers. I would find life as an insurance adjuster rather boring and monotonous. |

I work for Travelers - and I'm not happy there. I think a lot of it depends on which division your in...But overall, the culture is that of a behemoth insurance company - slow to change, same people working there forever, people lack accountability. I'm looking for a change. |
