I have read some of the comments in this forum and have to say I am very surprised at some of the reactions to this role. The Staples Way training was one of the best sales training I received (and I have previous sales experience). Also if people have had a bad experience with one manager, it does not represent the company as a whole. I feel that with any position if you work hard and treat it as a career and not just another "job" you will find REAL success within Staples. I was a B2BSC (business to business sales consultant) for 3 years and have been promoted to an Area Sales Manager. Within my team 5 B2BSC's have been promoted within the last 2 years. You get what you put into the role, simple enough.
