What is it like to work in the IT department in Mahwah? Any viewpoints would be greatly appreciated. Can someone also provide some information (e.g., two weeks for x years, three weeks after y years, etc.) on the time off allowed for vacation (paid time off) Thanks. |

I don't know too much about the IT department, but if you're going to work for their help desk, that's a very busy job. You start at 12 days vacation the first year (prorated unless you start in January) and go to 15 days your second year. It stays at that until you're there 10 years where it goes up to 20 days vacation. Vacation days can't be rolled over so it's use 'em or lose 'em. There are so many workaholics there, that many don't take all of the vacation time they're allowed. Crazy I know, but true... You also get 8 sick/personal days/year. |
