I work for SunTrust in Memphis and I can tell you that SunTrust is NOT going down. There haven't been any layoffs or talks of layoffs. Anything published in papers about that is fabricated. SunTrust is growing rapidly and is an awesome place to work!

My former boss is an SVP for SunTrust in Florida and he was laid off due to "re-structuring" luckily he applied and got the same job with company in a different city.

Slightly ghetto here in Richmond, but it isn't a bad bank if you can control AHT. There aren't a lot of layoffs.
