I got a lot of work from Kforce in the 1990's.
My account manager would meet with all of the developers in the SW MI area, buy us lunch, bring us 17lb turkeys for Thankgiving, etc. Class act!
My salary went up $20k within 3 years at one long engagement.

If you send a resume, they won't respond (not even an automated email response) unless they think you are a good fit and the position is still open.

That's been pretty much my experience with contract agencies. Unles you are absolutely perfect for the job and they haven't placed anyone yet, they won't respond. Also, don't bother calling them because they'll just say they'll call you.

you will find that with most contracting companies.
I think if you look at www.squiresgroup.com and you have the qualifications of positions on their website, you will be called, and they have integrity.
(I personally am a contractor of 3 years now with them).

Good luck prospecting.
