Do you work at TJX Companies? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

I applied to one of the stores that the TJX Company owns the position was for LP Dectective and I just want to say that if anyone out there is looking to get into LP for this company keep looking. I was told that I would be working by myself in a pretty good size store that wasnt a problem for me I was told that I had other duties to preform along with watching for shoplifters once again no big deal The thing that pushed me over the edge was that I was told that you are to try and recover the stolen merchendise at all costs. I've done LP for awhile and have had some pretty close calls but I have always had a partner to back me up and I was able to use handcuffs The LP Manager that I was interviewing with said that handcuffs where against policy and that the store wasnt big enough to have two LP Detectives on at one time. I turned down the job offer I am not about to get hurt for a t-shirt. My advise if you want to get into LP look for a company that will be more worried about your safety than there t-shirts |

Could you please elaborate on this. I certainly don't mean to be a pain, but I am at a crossroads in my life, and I need to make a decision. The position seems really promising, as well as the videos, and I've heard it is a very good company to work for. If you have any comments you'd like to email to me personally, I'd appreciate it. I recently went up for an interview for the corporate merchandise training program. I did not get it and I have no idea why. I have impeccable interview skills and have many years retail experience and I had no luck.... I have no idea what they are looking for when hiring for an entry level position. |

I got an interview and a letter both at Marshalls and then again at AJ Wright. |

I work for them in framingham, run run as far away from them as you can. Compare to other companies starting pay is way below and climate is not conducive. If you are of diffrent ethnicity dont run sprint! In my department already lost over 10 people in a 6 month period. |

All TJX employees emails are (FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME@TJX.com) so if you find an HR contact name. Try searching on linkedin.com. Good Luck |
