Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew how the drug test process worked. I read the bit about 40 ounces of fluid in 3 hours. I am worried that I will not be hired if I am unable to urinate. Does anybody know how Target responds in those situations?

usually the place you'll have to go to take the drug test is an open clinic, so you can go anytime of the day...

drink a lot of water, and when you have to go... hold it and head over there to get your test.

you HAVE to get your drug test within 24 hours after you're hired... so find a way to go.

I actually had that problem just this morning. I thought there would be a long wait at the clinic but they took me right in and I couldn't give them a large enough sample after 6 cups of water and two attempts at going potty. Finally the nice lab tech told me she got permission from her supervisor to go ahead and use the sample she got and that I should expect Target to get the results within 24-48 hrs.
