I have been reading some of the posts about Target taking weeks to respond to job applications and I just wanted to share my recent experience. I filled out an application for an overnight position this past Monday (today is Thursday). I got a call later that same evening asking me to come back the next day for an interview. I showed up the next day at 11:30am and waited about 15 min for my interviewing manager. After looking at my work history for about 2 min, the interviewer recommended me for a Salesfloor Team Leader position. I then interviewed with the store HR Manager, and the store's General Manager. The whole process took about an hour. After the interview with the store manager, I was told I needed to do a 3rd interview with a store manager from another store. He called me latere that same evening and told me to go to another Target at 1130am the following day (Wednesday) for an interview. The next day I was early, so they got me into the interview early. I was offered a job later that same afternoon. The entire process from application to job offer took about 48 hours. It has definately been the most pleasant expiernce I have ever had.
