DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT SALARIES OR WAGES UNTIL A POSITION IS OFFERED! TEK wants to know 'your range'. Tell them it is NEGOTIABLE! 3 recruits (#1: Master Ed- no experience, #2: undergraduate- no experience, #3: undergraduate- 2 years of experience plus security clearance) interview for 2 positions each with salary range $17- 20/hr. #1 requested wage range from TEK was $18- 19/hr, #2 request $17-18, and #3 request $18-20. Guess who did not receive an offer from TEK? |
