Accounting/Finance Jobs in Eagan, MN

Does anyone have experience working in Thomson's accounting/finance departments in Eagan? There are so many new job postings for their NASC group that I'm wondering if they need to replace their employees who are leaving or if they are really adding additional personnel. Do they have some knowledgeable, experienced people like myself or are they hiring all the new "millenials" to save money? How large are the departments?

There are two jobs posted currently that I am interested in. Now that I've researched Thomson, I realize that this could be the career growth opportunity that I am lacking at my current employer. Does Thomson really promote from within and allow employees to change departments? Is employee training as prevalent as indicated on their website?

A Thomson recruiter contacted me a few months ago but I was not looking for a new position at that time. Should I e-mail the recruiter I exchanged e-mails with a few months ago to let him know I am interested in these two jobs? Or should I just apply online to one or both? If anyone has any information or advice they would like to share, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
