Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Thomson? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Thomson? |

Depends on the location you work in - NY and Boston are Business Casual to Business. SF can be business casual to jeans. I suspect the Eagan etc are even more casual than SF. The person who posted that Thomson is very top heavy is correct. TF didn't give very good bonuses and there was a TON of politics. This wasn't hidden very well nor were peoples displeasure so the culture is a bit shattered. They aren't doing well finding the right ppl for the job, unifing management, retaining domain knowledge, and creating not only happy employees but successfuly products. |

I submitted a resume in Cary for the posting of a senior financial analyst on June 13, 2007. Never heard a word, but they aren't the only ones. It's becoming a trend. There are just too many resumes for each posting. |

I worked in Eagan for about a year. It seems as if there are two managers for every employee, and employees are basically just a number. Not the type of environment I enjoy. |
