Advice for getting in? Run AWAY! They have not been hiring quality upper management lately. One was even let go because his VENDOR made complaints about him (staff too) |

I agree. Run away. Interviewed for senior position. Rudely drilled by other "senior" staff and realized quickly the management is unprepared, uninformed, second-rate. Ultimate statement: they never even offered to pay for travel expenses for the interview, which was in another state! Conclusion: they cannot compete in financial services industry and are clearly under secondary management. Unless you are looking for less qualified staff positions (ie. back-room, clerical, etc.) I suggest one stick with a true Wall Street investment management firm or insurance/financial services group with solid reputation. |

Also had bad experience. Very unprofessional, ill equiped. Subtle yet undeniable prejudice in TIAA work place: "profiling" against women and gays is commonplace. |

Do yourself a favor and work anywhere but TIAA-CREF. Upper management is incompetent. |
