Major issues here and staff is traumatized. Work conditions are unrealistic and certain positions are like a revolving door. Since Time has taken over there are people holding key positions that have no understanding of the audience they are communicating with. STAY AWAY unless you like pain. |

The person I was supposed to interview with had me wait over 1/2 hour - eventually ditched me all together and had someone else come down to interview me - she informed me after the interview that they already had a candidate in mind -- well then why have me come in??? Guess what, less than 4 months later they're looking to fill the same position. I never worked here before but given that "interview" experience and all of the other negative comments and apparent high turnover I would never apply with them again. |

Politics politics and more politics. This is the type of place where people are fake and sweet when talking to you but as soon as you turn around there is gossip and backstabbing. As a new employee i was shocked to over hear some of the top management people gossiping and complaining about the staff!!! STAY AWAY... left after 2 months...just not the type of place that will make you feel good. |

This sounds like a terrible place to work. I did do a computer interview, got a number , and went into office..They said they wasnt hireing..NOW 1 day later its posted there hireing. My daughter worked there for over a yr, and someone swore at her on the phone, and she hung up on them and they fired her. Not a good place to work. The only thing that keeps people there, is they cant find jobs some where else... and she said the work is really hard untill you learn it, and the training was a joke............... |

I just quit there. They are dirty, disorganized, and lacking in help for people who are looking to give good customer service. All they wanted us to do was sell, sell, SELL their crappy stuff. Customers would call in with problems, and we were expected to "upsell" them at the same time. In the Dayton area, it is filthy, and they want you to work thru your lunch hours, breaks, etc... |

Wow, that's bad, but if there is any consolation I work as a customer service rep and I have to say most other companies are no different. It is the change in work ethics that's the problem. The job I'm at there is no training when new equipment comes in, the managers don't back us up when there is a problem with a customer. We are cursed out everyday by customers and clients and we don't have adequate security because they are afraid of the customers. It's just the sign of the times. Oh, working thru your lunch hour and breaks that sounds like a lawsuit that's what happen at Wal-Mart and they had to pay the employees over $1,000,000 for that. |

Does any one know about the MBA executive position in El Segundo, CA. I notice it has been posted several times. How is the atmosphere at this location? Is it worth interviewing if you are interested in getting some executive managment experience? How is the pay? |

I find it suspicious when the same jobs keep getting posted. Certainly gives you a hint that there's a problem there. And all media companies pay notoriusly under market but expect blood and your first born, so if that's not your thing, switch sectors. I finally did. One thing you should do: brush up on your spelling. It is a very important element in job seeking. Bad (or, conversely, good) spelling is noticed on your resume and cover letter. When you go to the company offices for an interview, you have to fill out application papers; so, if your spelling is poor that could make them drop you like a hot brick. These are office jobs, and they are all about words, words, words, and more words. SPELLING IS KEY! |

Will truth be a good enough protection from legal action if I tell all about my bad experience at a workplace? |
