There has been a wage increase in Illinois so the people who are making under $7.50 get a raise to the $7.50 from wahtever they are making know, but the problem is the will be making darn near close what a coordinator makes now at Homegoods which is not right. So now the are starting associates at $7.50, but what are the going to start the coordinators at. not getting any straight answers from Human resources or Management. these is crazy the cost of living in Illinois is rising and we are not even getting the cost living fro raises. It;s sad we are the one 's working our butts off to make the higher ups look good. Hop this helps anyone else who is having the same issues.

Hm, up here in British Columbia, new Associates START OUT at CAD$8.20 (that's USD$7.75). Agreed, we do have to work our asses off to advance or get anywhere.

I work at a store in central IL. Our coordinators are making anywhere from $11-$13 and change per hour. Of course, some (not all) are not accountable for a damn thing in their depts.

I have been there for nearly two years and am only making $7.75 per hour as an "associate". I was the "markdown lead", what a laff for .50 an hour more!! Backed off when I had to work faster so I was available to unload the truck w/new merchandise 3X per week.

Our current ML has to put in at least 2-4 hours of janitorial service and then gets ragged for not making at least 85% on initial markdowns

Of course, I seem to be the only "associate" who can move furniture and sets up furniture displays.

Killer biceps don't put enuf food on my table.

Our current ML has to clean toilets and sweep the floor every morning and then gets critized for not making at least 85% on initial markdowns (of course, she's not allowed to work overtime.)She's threatend with termination if she does not do this.

I work at at store in Louisiana as a Coordinator (Mens and Kids Dept.) and I get pay $8.30 per hour don't know how much more the other coordinators get paid but let me tell you is not enough for the kind of work you do. I'm in charge of pretty much half of the store with no helper!!!!!. Have to put all the mercahndise in my dept. by myself plus fitting room clean ups, customer service clean ups and breaks!!!!!.What about the outdateted review program? Is base on computer points and the most you can get is .30 cents a year!!!!!!!!. Most of my co workers get .22 cents!! and no bonus. No matter how good the store or the associates do you get 0 (nada).But CEO gets paid 1 million plus, a million plus bonus plus all the extras(shares etc) for a grand total of aprox. 8 million a year!!! How ya'll like that!!!!!!
