Minority Interested Coast Guard Career/Job? Need not apply!

If you are a minority and wanting to go into the CG, I think you should look into the Navy or the Air Force, or even the Army! I chose CG over appointments in the Navy and as a Special Agent in the DEA, and boy, was I stupid! Over 50% of Asian officers I know got passed over and kicked from the service while the Caucasians laughed their way to the top promoting each others and covering each other's ass!

Another case in point, while my fellow Asian ex-colleague and I tried to stay in the Reserve, they either demoted or denied us; while my Caucasian friend, who left the CG and has no desire to be in the Reserve, gets automatically put in for promotion! Welcome to prejudice and FUBAR administration, the CG style!
