What is a typical day in the life of an employee at U.s. Home Systems?

At the Portland location the typical day in training is to listen to the Manager tell his "war" stories for 6 hours and train for 2 hours. Expect to get a lot of promises that are wildly exagerated and not likely to come to fruition. Lots of "motivation" to do whatever it takes to make a sale whether it is right or wrong. Watch and document your work closely becasue you'll need it later when they rip you off... o yeah - it's against policy to keep paperwork so either way you'll get screwed. Good product and services but a bad culture.
