I've heard that UPS is strict about the appaerance of it's employees. Is this true? If so, strict in what way?

Wow, two opposite views on dress code. Perhaps dress code depends on local boss?

Seems like most of the UPS delivery men I see jog to and from the truck as opposed to walking. I wonder if they end up eating lunch while they drive?

The dress code actually depends on the job title. If you are full time management, then you are in full suits with bus. casual on Friday. If you are part time management, then its khaki's and a polo shirt. If you are an hourly employee in an operation, its all about comfort and being able to move.
