I have been offered the PT PL supervisor spot, what can I expect out of this position? How quick is it possible to go FT?

PT Supervisors are the backbone of the company. You supervise the hourly employees to make sure they are moving packages at the proper pieces per hour. Loading or unloading safely and fast enough. Also you will do all the work the Full time supervisor cannot get too. Which is more and more as they pare down full time positions. They will pay you 27.5 hours, you will work more and not be paid. If you don't you will be labeled a slacker and never be promoted. Good pay, good benefits, up to $4000.00 a year tuition for college. With todays climate can take years to be full time. You get one offer to promote, usually somewhere far away. No moving expenses for part-time to full time. If you turn it down, don't expect another. Be prepared to move for promotion. Also be prepared for shift changes at their descretion. There is no negotiation. Nights, then days, then back. Free will be no longer be a choice. Work as instructed will become your mantra. But good pay and benefits. It's all a trade.
