I would love for the new CEO to look at these comments. BD ruined a great company. Moral is down, staffing is down, stress is up, people leave by the droves. Some of us have to stay, due to age, vesting, etc. But I tell those looking for a job, stay away until the culture changes. BD used to say if you are not rowing in the same direction, then get off the boat. Well, BD your Titanic sunk. No way do any of us believe you retired. I hope that the Board of Directors finally saw the light. One most important thing. I hope Gen. Robles can also do something about Westro top management. Management is overly oppressive to work for, cares only for the bottom line, mico manages to the atom degree. We lost a great humanitarian when Rick Fowler "retired." He was our champion and he is dearly missed. Please Gen. Robles, look at the plebes that give their sweat and tears, day in and day out. Help us! |

My best wishes to General Robles. I pray that God gives him the judgment and guidance to make USAA a great company again. |

Just a rumor but I heard people actually cheered when it was announced Davis was leaving. Did you read the article where Robles unlocked the inner sanctum previously off limits? The mission is great and the members are great, I enjoyed talking with and helping all the members, for the most part a wonderful group, but hated management. Even the members would tell me USAA has changed and not for the better and all I could do was tell the member what a value they were I was sincere and I wasn't talking financial though that's how I believe Davis's view was. |
