I know of many people that quit for various reasons, (relocating with spouses, quitting to stay at home with young children, finishing college degrees, deployment, even going to work for other companies, etc.)and came back to work at USAA. All the returnees I knew returned before davis became CEO. I don't know of anyone who left and came back to USAA who complained of bad treatment prior to davis becoming CEO. Many years ago, a lot of people took early retirement at 55, then were invited back to resume working at their previous positions. This was back in the McDermott days.
As I've tried to impart before, the McDermott days were special. I actually looked forward to Mondays. My work was challenging and rewarding during the McDermott years. I remember the grand send-off when McDermott retired. Every level of the building was filled with employees waving their final goodbyes and wishing him well. There were a lot of people sad to see him leave. The building was decorated with balloons and streamers, and there was cake in the cafeteria. We were happy for him to finally get some much needed rest, but we were sad to see him go.

I saw no change in treatment of returning employees during the McDermott days and Herres days.

As for hot girls working at Maro, I never went to Maro. Can't help you there.
