If you plan on working for this company, make sure you read your contract. If you leave, you will be charged for any policies which "fall-off" the books after you leave. You will NOT receive income or even credit against the "fall-off" for policies which stay on the books. If you go into management, you will be greatly discouraged from selling for yourself. You will sell for any agent coming on board, you will deliver their policies (when they leave), you will TRY to help their customers and you will receive a small override and possibly a one-time bonus. You will never understand your statements AND you may not be able to view them on-line most of the time. You will not necessarily get any detailed information on why you are charged a lump amount against your statement. This experience can sour anyone on selling insurance. No company is perfect but you will have a better chance with just about ANY other company. Best of luck. |
