Do you work at United Rentals? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

The company is like any other. You get what you give. It is a sales job and if you do your job, you make good money. If you are a baby that cries all the time about how bad things are, go somewhere else. Everyone picks on the biggest and best. If you want a job, go online and see where the jobs are available. Go ahead and apply and go by the location and ask for 2 min. w/the Branch Mgr. Get the business cards of the sales reps and call them. The benefits are good and the pay is great. Can you make more somewhere else? Maybe, but I love it and like the security that outside sales provides. You also have a good chance to work your way up if you later have a desire to move into management. Don't listen to all the negative people, I bet if you ask them they have jumped from one rental company to another and just can't seem to fit in. |
